Here are some of the common questions about building a website.  If you don't see an answer to your particular question, please go to our Contact Us page and either send us an email or give us a call.  We'd be glad to help!

Can I update the site myself?

Let us know that this is something you want to do.  We'll build your site on a platform that uses a "drag & drop" format like WordPress.

Will my website help my 'Brand'?

In today's marketplace, people just assume you have a website to look you up.  If they can't find your site, they assume you aren't serious about being in business.  And when they do find your site, they want to recognize you immediately.  So in fact, your website is essentially the starting place to build your brand.

Do you have customer service?

Of course! Our friendly and knowledgeable customer services reps are available to answer your questions 24/7/365.

Can I send Newsletters?

Technically no.  The newsletter have to be sent through your email.  BUT, you can certainly get subscribers to your newsletter through your website.  You should not be using regular Email programs (like Outlook or gmail) to send out your newsletters!

I'm sure you've heard the expression, "the money is in the list".  Keeping your subscribers informed on a regular basis about events or products, keeps you and your Brand on their mind.

Will my site be found by Google?

Your website will be SEO ready.  What that means is, before we even start to build your website, we'll ask you for keywords.  For example,  let's say you are a mechanic in Barrie and you want people to know you do oil changes.  You'd want people to find you when they go to Google and search for "oil changes in Barrie".  We do that.

Will My Website Work on Mobile Devices?

Yes.  More searches are done these days on Mobile Devices than there are on desktops or laptops.  This is a huge segment of the market we don't want you to miss out on.

Who Will Host My Website and Email?

We can.  Or if you have a favourite company to do it for you that's fine.

But not all web hosting is created equal! It’s true that you can find web hosting for next to free, but price should not be the first consideration when choosing a web host. When looking for an excellent web host, you should look for: Track record for sites always being up. Remember, even an excellent up-time of 99.9% means about 9 hours of down-time every year. Unlimited Email Accounts. Storage space to hold your files; especially important if you’re going to have lots of files such as graphics that take up room, or IMAP email.

Bandwidth (amount of web traffic) to handle the number of visitors to your site—especially important if you have a high traffic site or one with a lot of streaming video or audio. Track record of providing quick and competent tech support. Backups of your Website Security - this is so important now-a-days.  Even some of the biggest companies with multiple layers of firewalls and securities are getting 'hacked'.

Do You Handle Shopping Carts And Online Payments?

If selling on-line is going to be a major part of your website strategy, then getting it right is critical. Selling on-line goes beyond just the shopping cart too.
